About two meters Gundam appeared.

Seiji Uchida made this amazing Unicorn Gundam of paper-craft!
He originally have a love of making things, and after his
age-limit retirement, he started the paper-craft. He built
robots and airplanes, and he thought that he would like to
make huge one in future, he said. And this gundam was
built by him and many children were excited to see it! :)

Every children were interested in the lovely robot :)

"Cooooool!!"
"Can he move by himself?"
"I'm unbelievable to make such a large one!"

He said that he would like them to have an interest of making
something and he want to show it for free if someone ask him.

I imagine there will be a lot of children holding dreams
and will make the world more happy!

New film of Evangelion is now showing in Japan.
Many related products have been released since the determine
of its release was made, but I didn't know that PENTAX
Evangelion Model had been released.

Today (11th March, 2013) is a day the great earthquake hit
Tohoku area in Japan two years ago.

Actually there are the disappeared a lot still now, but
people live in Tohoku keep trying for their reconstruction.

Thank you very much for your giving support and cheering us
from your county. We won't forget the great support from overseas.

If you are interested in the products made in Japan,
I think you have seen Japanese characters.
Basically, the words called "Hiragana" and "Kanji" make our words.
All children learn Hiragana at the first at an elementary school.
The next step is learning Kanji. This is a basic flow for a long time.
Thus, if you master only 46 hiragana characters, You'll speak
Japanese.

By the way, there are many dialects in Japan.
You can see (hear?) those dialects in each prefectures in Japan.
And, in that dialects, there is a dialect called "Kansai-ben".
I often see people from abroad, and often hear their Japanese
speaking. They are very nice, but they are "Standard Japanese".

But I sometimes see people who speak Japanese with the
Kansai accent!! This is my own opinion though, their kansai
dialect are pretty good! Can you speak it?

To explain about kansai-ben is very difficult,
so I'll introduce only one of kansai dilect.

あかん "Akan" is a kansai dialect phrase meaning "No way"

Situation:
You call attention to people who is texting while bicycling.

Kansai diarect
- Koketara Akan!
- Koketara Akande!
- Koketara Akando!

Anyways if you would like to say "no way", let's use "Akan"
filled with self-confidence. Thanks.

It is getting warmer and warmer day by day. We had shoveled
the snow only a few days ago! It is unbelievable thing...

Spring has come in Japan. There were / are several accidents
in Japan though, we are happy to have spring season.

Speaking of spring, we say that spring is a season of meeting
and parting because the entrance ceremony and the graduation
ceremony are held in March and April in Japan. The initiation
ceremony is also held in this season, usually.

When are those ceremonies held in your country?
Same with Japan?

When I was a student, I didn't like spring. Yes I liked spring,
but I didn't like the parting from my friends, classmates.
But this season comes every year and we can't stop the time.

And now, I love spring very much. Of course I've experienced to
part from a lot of people in my life and it will continue also from now.
Yes I know well. But I noticed that there are many meeting
in our life. Now I'm writing this letter to you and I think this is
also a meeting. I'm very glad to do it.

Actually, I wasn't here one year ago. I did a different work
in Osaka. This one year for me gave many meeting again.
I've not met you yet, actually, but it is my dream to see you
in future. I attached a photo of spring in Japan.
