The event is held by Japan Toy Association from June to July every year.
They hold up their theme "make the world smile with toys",
and the number of visitors who love toys will arrive there :)
The show opens with over 35,000 items! Amazing!

Today I talk about a Japanese traditional culture.
Have you ever heard the word "Yabusame"?
It's a traditional Japanese horseback archery.

Nowadays we have it as a kind of religious services,
but ancient people like Samurai warriors had used it as a skill for the battles.

Watch this Yabusame movie! It's so coooooool! XD

They wear a Kari-Shozoku (=hunting wear) when they have Yabusame.

Then they ride on horseback, make it run
and shoot through three targets in the straight road which is 715 feet.
What a amazing powers of concentration!
It is difficult for me even to ride a horse lol

There are a lot of tours to see it in Japan,
so please enjoy it when you visit :)

BTW, This is Yabusame festival in my hometown.
They are doing it in play...??

In Japan, the rainy season has set in.
The season will be over from mid-July to late July.
The rainy day increases in this season, so I don't like it :(

However, we have many things to appreciate in this rainy season.
We can see many Lightning Bugs ("Hotaru" in Japanese) only this season.
There are many domestic tours to see them in Japan.
I'm not planning to visit though, my friends said they went to see them
the other day :)

It is the traditional Japanese cheep sweets.

Now we can find it in many supermarkets or convenience stores though,
when I was child, there are so many dagashi shops in the towns.
We called those shops "dagashi-ya" :)

I want you to eat them. They are so delicious XD
And you will be surprised at the variety of dagashi. It's quite amazing!
So it is difficult for me to tell you about all dagashi :)

They are the most popular idol group in Japan now.
We call them "A, K, B, forty, eight".
AKB48 was produced by Yasushi Akimoto in 2005.
He is a famous lyricist and broadcast writer in Japan.

They have acted for their fans with the concept
"Idols you can meet everyday".
They give the public performance almost every day even now.
So you can meet them. They are an invaluable artist for thinking so.

And now, we can listen to their music in many places,
on TV, on radio, in many shops.
I don't know the places where you don't hear their music :)
