Japanese Kotatsu

Do you know Kotatsu?
It is a low, wooden table frame covered by a futon,
or heavy blanket, upon which a table top sits.

Underneath is a heat source, often built into the table itself.
Kotatsu are used almost exclusively in Japan.

Its really popular when in winter.
Of course we do have many other heating device.
Such as heater,boiler,gas fan heater and also electric carpet.
Even though we love Kotatsu.
