Japanese call it Mannenhitsu. In Japan, we had used a writing brush
and Indian ink as a writing implement in the past.
The fountain pen was imported from abroad in 1884,
and it is said that the production output was more than half of production
output in the world.

By the way, I want you to watch this movie.
It is very beautiful movie of a fountain pen made in Japan.

A name of this pen is Namiki Falcon.
When all is said and done, this person's writing is good. Lol
However, Japanese fountain pen is set high valuation among people.
You may know Japanese brand of it.
SAILOR or PILOT are major fountain pen maker.

In Japanese penmanship, the skills of writing called Tome (a stop),
Hane (a hook), and Harai(a fade) are very important to write
beautiful characters. Japanese fountain pen like in that movie has
a flexible nib. I think I can write characters with it as if I use a writing brush
like the old days.

Do you own your favorite fountain pen? Thank you.
