Souma nomaoi festival

In Japan we have many festival.One of biggest festival in
Touhoku district is called Souma-nomaoi festival.
It just finished.

This Souma-nomaoi festival have more than 1000years.
It started from one general called Tairano Masakado.
He wanted to train his samurai to hunting wild horses.

Now a day Japanese still continue this festival.We respect our history and ancestors very much.
But this year everyone have to think about we going to hold a festival or not.
Reason is Tsunami from earthquake.
Every things just washed away by tsunami.
Many people and horses gone.
But finally we held a festival to make everyone happy not to go backwards.
Japanese wants to go forward.
